With a duration of seven semesters “Bachelor of Science in Aircraft and Vehicle Informatics” is offered by the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt study course that meets the students with the fundamentals of the information technology. The bachelor teaches important subjects such as software engineering, programming, computer architecture, operating systems while further covering topics of the embedded systems, microcomputer technology, real-time systems as well as safety-critical systems. The course includes seminars and lectures where the focus falls on the avionic and automotive field and forming the specific skills necessary for the students. It offers a wide range of optional compulsory subjects that graduates can select from such as robotics, mobile communication, cryptology and more. With its modular structure the course provides the opportunity to explore specialized areas in greater depth and provides the necessary professional qualification to the graduates.
