Offered by the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, the “Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems” is a practical, application-oriented degree course with a duration of seven semesters, which provides the necessary professional scientific and practical-oriented preparation in applied technology as well as business administration. The program teaches participants to operate business application systems, expands the design competencies in order to integrate them from a technological and business perspective while building fundamental skills in the business administration, applied information technology as well as information systems. The expanded range of modules is primarily oriented towards developing participant’s personal skills. Topics include cloud computing, digitization and big data analytics as well as scientific methods, presentation techniques, communication skills and language skills. “Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems” consists of two phases that covers the basics of business information systems, business administration and information technology, different types of application system (such as ERP systems and business intelligence systems.
