“Master of Music in Early Music: Basso Continuo’’ is a study program offered at Trossingen University of Music. This course of study is with a duration of four semesters and is geared towards students who want to specialize in basso continuo playing. What is more, here participants will also acquire artistic knowledge and skills with a focus on extended technique of chordal instruments, development of basso continuo playing in different instruments, as well as a study of performance practices. In addition to the theoretical knowledge, students will also build performance skills that will enable them to create a representative repertoire with different instruments.
