“Bachelor of Music in Early Music: Voice, Podium Profile’’ is a study program offered at Trossingen University of Music. This course of study is with a duration of eight semesters. It is geared towards prospective students who want to acquire the necessary know-how and practical skills for practicing the profession of music teachers at schools or on freelance basis. Throughout the program, participants will explore the different aspects of early music and historical performance practice from the Renaissance to the Romantic period. What is more a strong emphasis is placed on musical interpretation through singing. Some of the courses featured in this curriculum include Singing, Ear Training, Improvisation, Performance Practice, Music History, Musicology, and others.
