Description
The “Bachelor of Education in Teaching at Grammar Schools” is provided by the University of Music Trossingen. This undergraduate program is offered to the participants, due to the collaboration between the university and the Universities of Tübingen and Konstanz. The duration of this program is eight-semester, and it is a full-time, German-taught course. It aims to develop the academic knowledge and skills of the students, in connection with music teaching, secondary school education, pedagogy, teaching theories, artistic development, jazz music, popular music, music industry, singing, stage performance, stage behaviour and many others. After successful graduation, the participants will be highly qualified to start working as music teachers within secondary schools and private centres, as well as to do a Master’s degree in music education. The admission requirements consist of a general university entry qualification.
