Trossingen University of Music offers the polyvalent degree program in “Bachelor of Music in Teaching Music at Grammar Schools’’. Here, prospective students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the basics of teacher training in music over the course of eight semesters. What characterizes this program is the fact that it is designed in a way meant to lay the foundations for not only Master studies but also for a doctorate degree in Musicology or Music Education. The degree content includes modules like Conducting and Rehearsal Techniques, Conducting a Choir, Conducting and Orchestra, Voice Physiology, Music and Movement, Artistic Instrument, and others.
