The “Youth Class” is provided by the University of Music Trossingen. This course is aimed at students who are musically gifted. The main purpose of this program is to provide the participants with the chance to get introduced to the basics of music before starting university. Furthermore, the students will further their academic knowledge, skills and understanding in the fields of music, music industry, performance, musical plays, stage behaviour, instruments, and many others. The future graduates will be well-prepared to start their higher education, in connection with music. The admission requirements consist of an entrance examination, as well as a proof of their aptitude.
