The University of Applied Management, founded in 2004, is a state-recognized university that is privately sponsored by the Hochschule für angewandtes Management GmbH (Ismaning). It has locations in Munich/Ismaning (headquarters), Berlin, Erdingen, Hamburg, Treuchtlingen, Unna, and Neumarkt in der Oberpfal.
