The full-time course “Master of Science in Integrated Safety and Security Management” at the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven is four semesters long. The program intends to teach students to protect the security of an organization or a socio-technical system concerning unintentional and deliberate internal and external events. In addition, the course is in collaboration with the "Institute for Safety and Security Studies" ("ISaSS"), as well as in cooperation with commercial enterprises and civil authorities, through which students acquire numerous contacts useful for their future careers. The curriculum includes the topics Threat Identification, Safety Management, Security Management, Risk Analysis and Risk Reduction. Graduates can work in management and become specialists in the field of danger prevention and risk management. The admission requirement is a first university qualification.
