Description

The course “Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering” at the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven lasts eight semesters. The program aims to qualify students as ship engineers since ships are the greatest transport of goods of all kinds. From the first-year students have a practical semester on a seagoing ship. The curriculum incorporates Mathematics, Technical Mechanics and Electrical Engineering, shipping economics, maritime English and others. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates obtain a certificate that qualifies them as technical watch officers.
