The seven-semester course “Bachelor of Science in Marine Resources Biotechnology” at the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven is a full-time study. The program focuses on marine resources and provides students with a solid essential understanding of bioanalytics and cell biology. The goal of the course is to qualify students for various biotechnological fields of application. There are two majors that students can choose from, and they are Marine (Bio)Resources and Bioanalytics. The syllabus includes topics such as integrated coastal zone management, ecosystem services, ecosystem load-bearing capacities and ecological footprint. Graduates can find a career in academic research, applied research in biotechnological companies, medical diagnostics or microbial production and more.
