The full-time course “Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology” at the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven lasts seven semesters. The program intends to qualify students for careers in the interdisciplinary field of medical technology. The course introduces students to the fundamentals of engineering, medicine and computer science, health economics, medical law and professional ethics. Students deepen their theoretical knowledge with multiple and various practices in laboratories, work in small groups, and have the opportunity for internships. To apply, candidates should submit general higher education entrance qualification, technical college entrance qualification or equivalent.
