University of Applied Sciences Burgenland, founded in 1994, is a private university with locations in Eisenstadt, and Pinkafeld. It accomodates five departments: the Department of Business Studies, the Department of Information Technology and Information Management, the Department of Energy and Environmental Management, as well as the Department of Health. The University currenlty has more than 1,800 students enrolled in full-time and extra-occupational Bachelor and Master degree programs.
