Offered by University of Europe for Applied Sciences, the English-language study program “Master of Arts in Photography” provides a creative setting in which to experiment and develop a distinctive style. The course encompasses analysis of narrative perspectives, their structure, and also visual storytelling. Students familiarize themselves with the newest technology and specific production techniques, and deepen their understanding of photography’s various contexts. They are taught in small class sizes, as University of Applied Sciences Europe prioritizes individual development and offers support through individual contact with the lecturers. Independent experimental projects are at the core of the program. Analog and digital camera systems, professional lighting, and other technical accessories can be borrowed so as to facilitate students’ completion of the tasks.  Graduates will become professionals and can apply for positions as advertising and magazine photographers or photographic artists, or succeed as freelancers.
