University of Applied Sciences, founded in 2010, is a private university with locations in Linz, Wels, and Steyr. More than 800 students are currently prepared for a career in a health profession. On offer are seven Bachelor and two postgraduate Master programs. Leading to a Bachelor’s degree are the study programs “Biomedical Science“ (B.Sc.), “Dietetics“ (B.Sc.), “Occupational Therapy“ (B.Sc.), “Midwifery“ (B.Sc.), “Speech and Language Therapy“ (B.Sc.), “Physiotherapy“ (B.Sc.), and “Radiological Technology“ (B.Sc.). At Master’s level, the University offers the study course “University Didactics for Health Professional Education“ (MHPE), as well as the study program “Management for Health Professionals“ (M.Sc.)“.
