The University of Applied Sciences for Intercultural Theology Hermannsburg, founded in 2012, is a state-approved ecclesiastical educational institution seated in Hermannsburg, Lower Saxony. The University’s educational focal point lies in the fields of Intercultural Theology, Diaconia and Global Ecumenical Cooperation. Prospective students can choose between the following five full-time degree courses: the six-semester degree course “Intercultural Theology, Migration and Congregational Leadership“ (B.A.), “Mission Studies and International Diaconia“ (B.A.), “Intercultural Theology, Migration and Global Cooperation“, and “Intercultural Theology and Global Diaconia“ (B.A.), as well as the four-semester English-taught Master degree course “Intercultural Theology“ (M.A., offered in partnership with the University of Göttingen).
