The international program “Bachelor of Science in Environmental Technology and Development” at the University of Applied Sciences Jena runs over eight semesters and offers an internship abroad. The course combines an engineering education and topics of development cooperation. The curriculum incorporates chemistry, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, development management, wastewater treatment, environmental analysis and more. Graduates can start a job as an environmental consultant, energy manager, appraiser, in research institutes and others. Applicants must submit a general university entrance qualification (Abitur) or equivalent.
