The “Master of Arts in Play and Media Education” course at the University of Applied Sciences Jena has a length of four semesters. The program for all those who want to learn methodological approaches to games and media education and have the opportunity to do so while working, as the training is part-time. Students gain beneficial skills in research, creativity and technical skills. Graduates qualify in the areas of Location of play and media education, Game theory, game research and game education, Media ethics and youth media protection, Use of digital games in education and other professional fields. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or similar and pass an aptitude test.
