University of Applied Sciences Joanneum, founded in 1995, is a private institution of higher education with locations in Graz, Kapfenberg, and Bad Gleichenberg. It is sponsored by the FH Joanneum Gesellschaft mbH. The University breaks down into six departments: the Department of Applied Computer Sciences, the Department of Building, Energy & Society, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Health Studies, the Department of Media & Design, and the Department of Management. University of Applied Sciences Joanneum has currently a total of 4,000 students enrolled in 46 Bachelor and Master programs, as well as ten postgraduate programs. Potential forms of studies are full-time studies, extra-occupational studies, work-friendly studies, and dual studies.
