The “Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology” is a 7-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses from Natural Sciences, Math, Microbiology, Genetic Engineering and Process Technology, to Bioreactor Technology, Fermentation, Instrumental Bioanalytics, Process Automation, and more. During their education, students will receive sound theoretical and practical training. They’ll learn valuable methodological and technical skills, as well as develop key competencies. Furthermore, the BSc is research-oriented and gives participants the knowledge and qualifications required to conduct their own scientific work. Graduates are qualified to pursue leadership positions in Production, QA, Research and Development, and Sales in the sectors of Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Environmental and Energy Technology. The program is also an excellent foundation for a consecutive Master’s degree.
