Description


The “Bachelor of Science in Food Technology” is a 7-semester long program conducted in German. It can also be carried out as a dual-study course. Throughout their studies, participants will get an in-depth understanding of the physical, chemical, microbiological, process-engineering, legal, and business aspects of food production. The BSc is practice-oriented and aims to familiarise students with the planning, controlling, and monitoring of food technology processes, but also conceiving, developing, and operating installations. Furthermore, the program promotes the development of professional core competencies and soft skills such as project management, leadership, teamwork, communication and organisation, etc. Graduates are qualified to pursue a managerial position in the Food Technology sector or opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
