Description


The “Bachelor of Engineering in Forestry“ is a 7-semester program conducted in German. It is also offered as a work-study course. Throughout their studies, participants will gain extensive knowledge of tree species, plants, and animals in Central European forests, as well as application of the processes in forestry and legal requirements. The Bachelor’s degree program offers students various case studies, that aim to provide them with hands-on experience, as well as social and methodological competencies. Furthermore, the program promotes self-growth and the development of soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, project management, communication, and more. Graduates are qualified for positions in the sectors of Wood Resource Mobilisation, Preparation and Logistics, Forest Industries and Timber Markets, Forestry Assessment, Forest Pedagogy and Environmental Education, and more. Graduates can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
