The “Bachelor of Science in Horticulture – Production, Commerce, Services” is a 7-semester program conducted in German. It is also available as a work-study course. The curriculum is diverse and consists of courses ranging from Natural Science, Botany, Pomiculture and Nursery Production, Plant Protection, Plant Nutrition to Technology in Horticulture and Marketing and Trade Management. Throughout their education, students will gain sound theoretical knowledge and practical relevance. They’ll have the opportunity to set their career paths early on by choosing a specialisation between Production Horticulture and Commerce & Services Horticulture. Additionally, students acquire key competencies and soft skills needed for a successful career as horticulture engineers. The BSc is also a strong foundation for a consecutive Master’s degree.
