Description

The “Bachelor of Engineering in Landscape Construction and Management” is a 7-semester program taught in German. It is also offered as a dual study course, suitable for individuals who wish to combine working and learning. In the first semesters, students will get familiar with the fundamentals of Natural Sciences, Landscaping, Botany, and Design and Planning. In the fifth semester, they need to carry out compulsory practice work in a horticulture or landscaping company, a landscape architecture company, or related firms. The practical semester offers participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experiance and key competencies, thus be prepared for the real-life working environment. The BEng qualifies graduates to pursue managerial positions in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture companies, Project Management firms, Engineering offices, Consulting businesses, housing associations, and more. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
