The study course “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences has a duration of seven semesters. The program aims to train students to support and help people in critical and challenging circumstances in their social conditions. Students study History and fields of social work, social problems, social situation, social policy, development, socialization and education, social work law and other topics. In addition, the training provides students with voluntary semesters and internships abroad and excursions to European and non-European countries. Graduates are qualified as state-certified social workers or social pedagogues and work in the social, educational and health sectors.
