The five-semester course “Master of Arts in Social Work and Education” at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences is a part-time and distance study. It combines Internet-based, discursive learning through a block-based learning platform on campus. The curriculum includes Basic theoretical references of social work, theories of education and learning, self-reflection on own educational biography, approaches to knowledge and research methods and other topics. Students acquire knowledge and competencies in social work theory and research and leadership and management. The admission requirement is a relevant bachelor’s degree. Graduates pursue a career as educational advisors in all areas of out-of-school education.
