The Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration” at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt extends over seven semesters and is conducted mainly in German, with some of the disciplines given in English. The degree commits to delivering the current scientific theoretical knowledge on the economic and business subjects, scheduled into basic course in the first semesters, and a specialized one in the subsequent semesters. The final aim of the training is to produce professionals who would function on their own in complex problem-solving situations, requiring personal and specific skills, as well as, by knowledge of the way the whole system in a business organization works, plus the internal and external factors, which could influence the processes in it, manage to involve and inspire, guide and synchronize all the pertaining actors, activities and responsibilities. External partnering companies cooperate in the practical preparation of the students, as well as the orientation of their bachelor’s theses.
