The admission to the degree course “Bachelor of Engineering in Business and Engineering” at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt is linked to a pre-study internship. The language of this TWIN degree is English, and international students are required to have a suitable level of proficiency in German, too. If students desire, during their studies, they can switch subjects form one language to another, and obtain the TWIN certificate at the end. The competence level of the graduates will be of a high degree and quality, since in their program there are technical subjects in engineering, and sciences, matched to management, leadership and soft skills training. Further to this, there is the inherent practical perspective, which accompanies any of the educational aspects. In the sixth semester students do an internship in a company, which serves as empirical support for the knowledge imparted, and also, as the basis for the research, which will be done in the bachelor’s thesis in the final, seventh semester.
