The “Bachelor of Engineering in Business and Engineering” program at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt and the one in English are TWIN courses, which means that subjects in both are identical, more or less, and students can interchangeably do one or the other, and end up with a TWIN certificate. Technical disciplines go together with the management ones, as well as the development of soft skills. The focus of the whole process of education is on the practical side of the knowledge imparted, which is done through the tight cooperation of the degree academic staff and the small, medium or large businesses, whoses bases and know-how are used for the intenships and the empirical testing of the skills acquired during the program course. Specialization in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, on the technical side, or production, digital business, and sales and purchasing, in the domain of management, can be pursued. The specialist application spheres of future graduates will be of high competence degree.
