In the course “Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics” at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, primarily German and partly English is used. The studies continue for seven semesters, the degree is divided into a four-semester orientation phase in the subjects of Business Administration, IT, Business Informatics, and Mathematics. In the fifth semester this knowledge is applied to practice, and the sixth and seventh are for the advanced stage of the studies, through elective specialization modules in Business Software, Business Technology, Information Security, Media Informatics, Digital Innovations, Mobile Solutions. Traditionally, specialist graduating this course will be employed as IT consultant, analyst, project manager, trainer, quality manager, software architect, or software developer. Company information processing and supply is the overall responsibility of the professionals trained as Business Informatics specialists.
