The “Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design” at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt is a degree course conducted mainly in German, although some of the disciplines are delivered in English. It continues for seven semesters, the program is divided into core initial training in the first three semesters, and the specialization period in the second half. A practical module in the fifth, and a bachelor’s thesis in the seventh semester provide for the individual contribution to the field of research and practice, especially that, oriented to the applicability of scientific knowledge. The fields of work after graduation are diverse, since there are numerous modalities and communication channels available at present. The degree will combine preparation on the scientific basis - concepts and goal setting processes, the technical means and communication products, which, in their own professional career, students will adapt according to their personal inclination. Advertisement, films, magazines, websites, brochures, are all products created by specialists with this qualification.
