The “Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology” at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt can be finished in a period of seven semesters. Besides German, English will also be used in the course of the studies. Scientific knowledge is not stripped off its practical use, and students are guided throughout the whole period of the studies to assess the applicability of every technical solution they come up with. Further to this, an internship period and practical phases in companies are programmed. The three semesters from the start of the degree are for fundamentals in engineering, electronics, IT, mathematics. The advanced phase in the next three semesters is a specialization study, in electrical power engineering, automation technology, communications engineering, or medical technology. The practice period and the bachelor’s thesis conclude the course. Highly-valued and demanded specialists is what the program produces.
