The Master’s degree “Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering” at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt is a three-semester program. In it, both German and English are used for instruction. The particularity of this course is that it is a research program, with a partcicipation in a project, under individualized supervision, but in a network of internal and external pertners. There individual, soundly-based in scientific methods work is done, experience in problem-solving, and interdisciplinary knowledge is gained. Through a free choice of subjects, students devise their individual study plan. By working in such profound, research-based, and independent way, students acquire academic skills, which could also serve their postgraduate degree studies, if desired. Many graduates continue to the next degree level, others find a position in business, science or civil service.
