The University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt is an accredited supplier of the four-semester degree course “Master of Business Administration in Health Management”. The targeted group for this course are professionals in the health and medical sector, who possess their job specific qualifications, and are planning to take up a management position, as well. The curriculum has been devised, and is imparted, with the support of the practitioners from the Bavarian Rhön spa region, and the Academy for Health Economics of the RSG Bad Kissingen, so all practical aspects of a management position in the health sector are taken into consideration. The course is part-time, with attendance periods every three weeks, during the weekend. Hospitals, medical practices, consulting firms and associations could be the places where graduates will find professional realization. Equally, opening up one’s own office or consultancy is another possible scenario.
