Description
The degree program “Bachelor of Engineering in Hydrogen Technology” at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt has a duration of seven semesters. The language in use is German. The study program includes teaching of basic subjects at the early stage of the degree – mathematics, electrical engineering, mechanics, and thermodynamics. Subsequently, these evolve into the specialist lectures in hydrogen technology, fuel cells, H2 production, storage and transport. The sixth semester is planned for the practice at a company, where first-hand knowledge is gained through relevant application of the learned material. The internship also serves as the basis for the research project of the bachelor’s thesis at the final stage of the studies. Many are the spheres open up to the professionals of this bachelor – plant construction of vehicle, energy and environmental technology, industrial product development and plant operation in these, as well as the specialist consultancy and service work for local, district or national authorities.
