For a period of three semesters, students can obtain the Master’s degree „Master of Arts in Information Design” at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. The degree is delivered mainly in German, although some of the subjects are also taught in English. This is a degree oriented towards professionals in the visual design and culture, those engaged in the creation of presentations, educational materials or any other multimedia product. The special emphasis in this stage of education is on the practical activities, which reflect the scientific principles taught. The application is linked to a personal project initiation, which, in the ensuing terms is developed and concluded. The modules are so designed as to satisfy the personal interests of each student, be flexible in combination with one another, or follow logically into a sequence of increasing complexity. Experts from other research insitutes or facilities can be consulted in this respect, since teamwork and multidisciplinary project work are the basis of the teaching and learning concept.
