Description

The University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt offers the degree program “Master of Engineering in Intergral Planning and Building”. It is designed to be completed within a period of two semesters, with 60 credits, or three – with 90 credit points. The aim of the studies is to build upon the relevant undergraduate studies knowledge and prepare project managers, who are responsible for the whole value chain from planning and construction to the operation and management of the properties. Typically, this is an infrastructure project, so construction and real estate industries await future graduates. The first part of the course is focused on scientific design and construction matters, while the later one is for the economic and legal framework to be taken into consideration when managing a construction project. Examples and practice evidence are drawn upon as the guiding orientation for the course.
