The English-language degree course “Bachelor of Engineering in Logistics” at the Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt Univeristy continues for seven semesters, and is a combination of studies of the natural sciences, economics, engineering, transport, national and international company networks, among others. There is vocational preparation in mathematics, physics, mechanics, operations management, transport logistics in the initial three semesters, which later on converts into a specialist course of three more semesters, where material flow, technical logistics, supply chain management, strategic purchasing will be dealt with. Time is scheduled for two industrial projects, a twenty-week internship, and a thesis development. All content is structurally practice-oriented, and there are trainings onsite in companies, along case study groups, so that real-life application of the knowledge is seen first-hand.
