The University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt offers the degree program “Bachelor of Engineering in Logistics”, conducted in German language, which is a twin course of the one with the same title, done in English. This is why a relevant level of language competence is needed for international applicants, preferably B2. The duration of the course is seven semesters, and students can switch between the two language programs, so that a twin certificate will be issues in the end. Another prerequisite for the degree is the pre-study internship period, while practice and application of the theoretical knowledge are never taught for their own sake during the degree. This is the reason for the small-sized groups, case studies and team work, two industrial projects and logistics tasks, solved onsite in companies, as well as the 20-week internship period included. The course combines high-order competence, converging economics, engineering, and natural sciences.
