After a relevant music bachelor’s degree of 240 credits, the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt gives an opportunity for completing a continuing, part-time Master’s course “Master of Arts in Music Therapy for Empowerment and Inclusion”. The course is planned for three semesters. The studies are centered in the inclusion of music in the treatment of special needs’ patients or students, and the participation of their caregivers, and environment, as well. Four of the eight modules of the degree are for the practical application on clients of the intervention methods taught. Formal and informal organizations, and their music therapy programs, will host graduate professionals with this qualification.
