The Bachelor’s degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Aesthetics’’ offered by the University of Art Kassel provides in-depth art-historical knowledge. The program’s course aims to educate about the genres of architecture, plastics, painting, graphics, and modern art forms of expression from the middle age up to the present times. After the completion of the compulsory courses, students can further select elective courses to specialize in. The overall goal is to enhance each student’s skills in an individual environment by providing personal space and a supervisor. The completion of this program gives the possibility for taking part in a consecutive Master’s degree program.
