The degree program “Master of Education in Biology” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive German-language course of studies. Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, the curriculum is geared towards students who want to deepen their biology- related knowledge and skills. The program is designed to meet all the necessary criteria for students to cope with the technical and didactic requirements of the teaching profession. Furthermore, prospective biology teachers also acquire detailed content-related and methodological specialist knowledge in a subject-specific and interdisciplinary manner. However, for admission to a master’s course, a Bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite.
