The degree program “Master of Science in Digital Media” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive English-language course of studies. Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, the curriculum provides the necessary skills for students to further develop multimedia information and communication systems. Enveloping computer science and communication design management, the program has a modular structure, including Introduction to Digital Media, Media Informatics 1 + 2, Media Design 1 + 2 and a few more essential modules. The third semester is practice-oriented and projects are prepared, whereas the last one is mainly reserved for the writing of a Master’s thesis. The course is restricted in admissions and Bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite.
