The German-taught degree program “Bachelor of Science in Economics” is a full-time course of study offered by University of Bremen. Spanning a standard duration of six semesters, the curriculum puts its emphasis on business administration and economics. Moreover, the program is divided in the fundamental areas: Basis of business administration, Basis of economics, Methods, Main focus, Compulsory elective area, and a Final module. The latter program provides students with an opportunity to choose whether to focus on Innovative change and human behavior or Institutional change and economic policy. Having gained competence in the field, graduates are sought-after specialists in banks, middle management, political consulting and research, insurance companies and many more. However, admissions are restricted and level B1 in English language is required as well as the presentation of a general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
