Description
The degree program “Master of Science in Environmental Physics” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive English-language course of studies. The latter is developed in cooperation with the Institute for Environmental Physics (IUP) at the University of Bremen, the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Center for Polar and Marine Research in Bremerhaven (AWI). Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, the curriculum’s objective is to convey students specific knowledge and problem-solving skills, in order to apply them in practice and in their vocations. The program’s emphasis is put on exploring the processes in and between the subsystems atmosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, solid earth and climate. The course is restricted in admissions and Bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite.
