The degree program “Master of Science in Epidemiology” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive German-language course of studies. Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, the curriculum provides an interdisciplinary curriculum with an emphasis on epidemiology-related sciences. The first semester of the program aims to give students the foundational knowledge, and after that, they are able to work on research questions in order to gain practical skills. Having gained competence in that field, participants are prepared for job opportunities in health science- in institutes, industrial companies, national and international organizations for which epidemiological competence plays a central role. The course is restricted in admissions and Bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite.
