The subject of geography in the Master of Education for teaching at grammar schools and secondary schools (or for secondary levels I and II) follows on from the bachelor's degree in geography in the teacher training option. As part of the Master of Education, on the one hand, the specialist training in geography is expanded, on the other hand - in conjunction with this - the (school level-specific) subject didactic training from the bachelor's degree is continued and with the practice and reflection of school teaching practice (especially in the second or practical semester ) connected. The cooperation with the subjects of political science and history within the framework of the Center for Didactics of Social Science (ZeDiS) (further information at: http://www.uni-bremen.de/zedis) also offers an interdisciplinary education that meets the interdisciplinary requirements of current school practice.
