The degree program “Master of Arts in History” offered by University of Bremen provides a consecutive German-language course of studies. Spanning a standard study period of four semesters, the curriculum puts an emphasis on the specific subjects “Public History” and “Culture History”. The latter program allows participants to select the specialization and, in accordance to it, the internship or the semester abroad, aiming to apply the theoretical knowledge gained into practice. Upon graduation, students find a wide range of career prospects in the subfields of publishing, political advice or in museums, archives, libraries, research institutes and educational institutions.
