The German-taught degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Inclusive Education (Grundschule)” offered by University of Bremen has a standard length of six semesters. The course curriculum puts an emphasis on the individual approach in children’s inclusive education. During the second to fifth semester, students are able to choose a specialization in the following areas: Emotional and Social Development, Intellectual development, Learning and Language. Having gained competence in those fields, participants have wide range of career opportunities in the inclusive educational sector in primary schools. The course is restricted in admissions and applicants are required to present a general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification and a proof of completion of a 6 weeks pre-study internship.
