Description
The state examination program “Law” offered by University of Bremen is a full-time course of study. Spanning a standard period of nine semesters, the curriculum comprises of 5 semesters compulsory course. In the first two semesters, basic knowledge of the three compulsory subjects civil law, criminal law and public law as well as historical and philosophical aspects of law are covered. At the end of the second semester en examination takes plase, the passing of which acquires admission to the main course. The specialization starts in the third semester. In addition, the curriculum includes the following major fields of study: Fundamentals of Law, Environmental Law and Public Business Law, International and European Business Law, Labor and sSocial Law in an International and Supranational Context, Information, Health and Medical Law, Criminal Law and Criminal Policy in Europe. Furthermore, a three-month internship takes place in between the lectures-free periods. However, admissions for the course are restricted and level B2 in English is required as well as the presentation of a Bachelor’s degree.
